These Terms of Service govern your use of the HomeTaste website and the services we offer, including dining, online ordering, catering, tiffin service, and student meal plans. By using our site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

By accessing or using hometaste.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. About HomeTaste
HomeTaste is a 100% vegetarian Indian restaurant and catering business operating in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. We offer dine-in, takeout, online ordering, daily tiffin service, student meal plans, and catering for events of all sizes. All food prepared by HomeTaste is strictly vegetarian.
3. Orders & Payment
When you place an order through our online ordering system (order.hometaste.ca) or in person, you agree to provide accurate contact and order details. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes.
Payment is required at the time of order unless prior arrangements have been made for catering or corporate accounts. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that appears fraudulent or contains inaccurate information.
4. Pickup & Availability
HomeTaste is a pickup-only establishment for online orders. We do not offer in-house delivery; any third-party delivery options are arranged independently by the customer. All listed menu items are subject to availability and may change without notice.
Pickup-only policy: Please collect your order at the selected HomeTaste location. We do not guarantee third-party delivery quality or timing for orders arranged through external delivery services.
5. Catering & Tiffin Service
Catering orders and tiffin subscriptions are confirmed only after we have received and accepted your request, and any required deposit has been paid. Catering quotes are estimates; final pricing depends on confirmed guest counts, menu selections, and any changes made after the initial quote.
Tiffin service is offered as a daily meal plan at a flat per-meal rate. Meal delivery schedules, pickup windows, and menu rotations are set by HomeTaste and may vary by location.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility varies by service. Please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details. In general, food items that have been prepared or picked up are non-refundable, while catering deposits and tiffin prepayments may be refundable within stated timeframes.
7. Website Use & Conduct
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of, the site by any third party. Unauthorized use of content, branding, or images may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and menu descriptions — is the property of HomeTaste and protected under Canadian copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish content without our written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
HomeTaste is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
