We collect information you provide directly when you place an order, request a catering quote, ask about tiffin service, apply for a job, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, delivery or pickup details, event details, and order preferences.

We may also collect limited technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, to help us improve the website and understand traffic.

We use your information to process and fulfil orders, respond to inquiries, coordinate catering and tiffin services, send order confirmations and service updates, keep our records and accounts, and improve our menu and customer experience.

We collect only what we need for these purposes, and we do not use your information for purposes a reasonable person would not consider appropriate. We do not sell your personal information.

When you give us your contact details, we rely on your consent to use them for the purposes described in this policy. You can withdraw that consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual limits, by emailing info@hometaste.ca.

Order confirmations and answers to your inquiries are transactional messages. We send promotional messages only where you have consented, or where an existing customer relationship allows it. Every promotional message we send identifies HomeTaste, includes our mailing address and contact details, and offers a free and easy way to unsubscribe. We act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as they need it: website hosting, our online ordering platform, payment processing, email delivery, and delivery platforms when you choose delivery.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held there is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, and may be accessible to their courts and authorities.
